X–Y MOUNT

The X-Y MOUNT is designed to precisely match zoom lenses to the center of the sensor on a Red One camera. It improves the performance while zooming on mirror or side rigs and reduces the amount of alignment required when primes are changed out to other focal lengths. Its high-end engineering includes the pairing of titanium and carbon. This marriage shows only one third the expansion due to temperature changes compared with aluminum.  A fine pitch thread allows the operator to precisely shift the mount up to 1mm in horizontal and vertical position and then lock it.
